iPhone App: Red Laser QR Reader

with one comment

I am shocked that most people are still not using QR readers on their iPhone, Android, or Blackberry. They are the coolest way to instantly launch you to websites or specific pages within sites and even download information. I’m seeing them everywhere I go, and use them on most things I print.
Red Laser is a great one. Not only does it read QR codes (click here for sample), but will also read UPC codes on products so you can remember the product later when you want to buy it, OR, see if you can find it online or nearby at a more competitive price. I’ve even used it in a store on products where I could not find a price tag… saves tracking down a sales associate who will most likely not know the price either.
I use a few different readers and like most of them. You will find many of the most popular, like Red Laser, are free to download.

  1. This is great stuff indeed, Bob!

I have been using the QR code reader for a while, and I did not know about Red Laser – I have tweeted this, and now I am off to D/L Red Laser on my phone!

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Cheers.
